Custom CAD designed abutments for better esthetics and ease of cleaning

Using customized CAD designed and milled abutments specific to your treatment helps to ensure the best long-term outcome for your dental implant.  Custom abutments can also improve your ability to clean your dental implant and can improve the esthetics of your dental implant.  Custom abutments also help prevent cement from being trapped around your implant, which can result in bone loss and implant failure.  Many dental offices and dental labs use “stock” abutments, which are essentially “one size fits all”.  These “stock” abutments are less expensive and require less training to use, but they can compromise the successful outcome of your treatment.  Dr. Hodges is one of only a few Nobel Biocare CAD certified technicians in Washington State.  He has personally designed and milled hundreds of abutments and he trains labs and doctors on the best abutment designs.
